New carbon monoxide poisoning figures released
Health and Safety Executive release carbon monoxide poisoning figures
On the 20th April the Gas Safety Trust urged the Plumbing industry to emphasise
the seriousness of CO2
poisoning to their customers following the release of the Health and Safety
Executives most recent report.
For the year ending June 2010 four deaths and 117 illnesses caused by CO2
poisoning were reported to the HSE
in the UK, however the Gas Safety Trust fears figures could be far higher than
official data suggests. H
